General Discussion
So, here we are almost 2 years later and we are in another lockdown. I am not oblivious to the ramifications this virus has had one millions causing illness and death. But the affect we are actually seeing in children's mental health is astronomical. They need to exercise, see there friends, not be afraid, etc... THEY NEED TO BE CHILDREN. I am however taking this time to try and change my mindset from the negative things and look at what I can affect in their lives to give them coping skills. We talk about how this is difficult for us as adults as well and what we do to help with stress, we encourage them to take time for themselves and most of all we bask in the time we get to have with them. We can make a negative thing and make it positive but sometimes for me I need to talk it out first. Lets acknowledge the stress, the hurt, the pain but give more space to the love, joy and kindness.
